Digital is part of the UHC Medicare & Retirement Marketing team and is responsible for portal development for direct to consumer business.  We work with Portal IT partners, agencies and external vendors to support our online business and marketing strategies. 

The Sr. Adobe Experience Manager/Developer position will work closely with digital team members such as, content management authors/developers, project management, marketing, business stakeholders, product management, and technical members of our organization, so strong communication skills are required.  The ideal candidate will also have experience creating requirements specifically for web sites and understand web site terminology as well as navigation of web sites. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adobe Experience Manager Developer and Author experience

    • Designing and developing web applications using the Adobe platform, including guidance of site structure, components, templates, workflows, dialogs, object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing using AEM architecture (CRX, OSGI, JCR)

    • Setup and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices.

    • Integrate AEM with other marketing products like Assets, Target, Campaign, and other internal endpoints.

    • Work in an agile, rapid development environment.

    • Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration.

    • Resolving user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe AEM/CQ.

    • Lead and mentor authors within a business marketing team
       

  • Requirements

    • Elicits user requirements from the digital product leads and business stakeholders

    • Analyzes user research and analytics during project analysis

    • Agile Feature and User Story development

    • Serves as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues

    • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them

    • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions

    • May review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement

    • Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues

    • Motivates and inspires other team members

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years business analysis and AEM developer experience, preferably in web based environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding and support of SEO highly preferred

  • Experience with Agile Development methodology in Product Owner role preferred

  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager preferred

  • Experience in a compliance driven organization

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization

  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

  • Knowledge of Medicare business
