About the Job

We use research ideas to solve real-world problems.  We are currently seeking a Research Lead with experience in healthcare to manage experiments designed to gather important data and test hypotheses about business opportunities.  You will participate in every stage of the research process and should be inquisitive, collaborative and willing to learn new methods and techniques. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Function as a project lead collaborating with research directors, scientists, and our leadership team developing research programs consistent with study design and specifications
  • Manage the execution of programs created in pursuit of a research inquiry
  • Drive for clear specifications and timing to advance research goals and deliverables
  • Collaborate within cross-disciplinary research teams
  • Combine and synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Select appropriate analytical methods to explore, develop, and test hypotheses
  • Develop, monitor, and act on reporting to:
    • Achieve timely and accurate program outputs
    • Achieve high level of user satisfaction (specifically study participant satisfaction)
    • Review, document, and analyze processes to identify process opportunities
  • Proactively identify operational challenges and obstacles, while managing the escalation and resolution of issues
  • Lead or support initiatives to continuously improve existing processes or to establish new ones
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for data security and compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of Research or Operations experience
  • Experience and general knowledge across multiple disciplines
  • IRB and QI knowledge
  • Experience cleaning and visualizing data
  • Experience or interest in working with large datasets and analysis of synthesized, disparate datasets
  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in related field
  • Healthcare experience  (especially experience with clinical research projects)
  • Experience working with health care data
  • Experience informing experimental design using historical data
