The Fulfillment Services Account Manager is responsible for activities and deliverables, with the internal / external business partners. The primary focus of this position will be to manage accounts and utilize project management methodology for the implementation of print and fulfillment solutions to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Fulfillment Services by Managing day to day account activity to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Act as primary day to day account contact
  • Reviewing and understanding end to end processes, procedures and  of print and fulfillment  for assigned business areas
  • Keeping leadership and business stakeholders apprised of potential or actual  print and / or fulfillment issues and provide regular status updates
  • Daily monitoring of various production fulfillment systems, testing activities, as well as ad hoc projects and support as needed
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of fulfillment services processes, procedures, and systems used to execute fulfillment requests
  • Monitor project dates and meet individual deliverables while supporting other team members to ensure order quality / accuracy goals are met
  • Track project milestones and deliverables and prepare project status reports
  • Provide project support by:
    • Daily monitoring projects
    • Testing activities
    • Status updates
    • Gathering requirements
    • Managing risk and changes
    • Track milestones and deliverables to business partners to ensure continuous improvement
  • Research and resolve common fulfillment errors, data discrepancies, document errors and issues
  •  Maintain quality by gathering and analyzing data
  • Assist with materials planning, capacity planning, monthly metrics, and overall business forecasting
  • Create policies and procedure documentation on new tasks or processes
  • Manage assigned accounts from end - to - end
  • Maintain and foster collaborative working relationships with team members, business partners and external vendors
  • Support the overall business goals of Optum by performing additional duties as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 3+ years of documented account management experience
  • 1+ years of documented experience as a project manager 
  • Intermediate level of proficiency of MS Excel
  • 1+ years of Proven ability to manage own work flow, prioritize and meet deadlines while responding to demands of multiple customers (internal and external)
  • 1+ years of experience coordinating or managing deliverables of third - party vendors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Beginner level of proficiency of MS Project
  • Experience interfacing with business decision - makers and system end - users to prioritize and achieve desired outcomes
  • Self - starter with excellent communication, organizational, process planning, decision making and implementation skills
  • Must possess a very high level of attention to detail
  • Independent worker, who can rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Must be available to travel occasionally on business
