The Financial Pricing Consultant prepares P&L models to project profits and prepare pricing for response to Requests for Proposals for PBM services. This role operates in a fast-paced and continually evolving landscape, allowing the opportunity to help shape the future of health care.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Determine pricing for the various products and services we offer, customized for each individual case using a variety of forecast models
  • Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business problems regularly in a dynamic work environment
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analyses and trends
  • Assess the risk of pricing guarantees offered
  • Collaborate with Sales, Proposal and Legal teams to provide the most fitting proposal to clients
  • Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data 
  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders
  • Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
  • Participates in the development of business strategy
  • Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of progressive professional experience in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Financial acumen and P&L management skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pricing experience
  • Healthcare or Pharmacy experience
  • Consulting firm experience
