We are seeking an Executive Partner to join the Partner Delivery team in Washington, D.C.  In this role, Executive Partners are accountable for the value delivered through the partnership and overall Partner relationship management. They are the translator of member needs into tangible, on target, customized research. Executive Partners establish solid, working relationships with CEO and executive team and serve as the escalation point for Partner value delivery. Executive Partners will also play an active role in business development activities for future Partner members, and help develop and improve the core products and services that are part of the Partner offering.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage a large, multidisciplinary, and matrixed team (Research, Account Management, Technology)
  • Accountable for the value delivered through partnership and overall Partner relationship management
  • Translator of member needs into tangible, on target, customized research
  • Establish solid, working relationships with CEO and executive team
  • Serve as escalation point for Partner value delivery
  • Help develop core products and services that are a part of the Partner offering
  • Engineer the strategy and project plan for enterprise-wide client support for Partner members
  • Craft and manage the delivery of customized research and consulting-lite projects
  • Identify and develop commercial or strategic partnership opportunities for Partner members
  • Facilitate coordination of internal Advisory Board resources to ensure successful delivery against Partner engagement project plan and milestones
  • Play an active role in business development activities for future Partner members
  • Identify potential issues that will impede success and develop/recommend corrective action; maintain internal issue and risk tracker logs and drive toward resolution
  • Utilization of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint and Excel for presentations, etc.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in a Business or Healthcare related field highly preferred
  • 15+ years professional work experience across the following areas:
    • Primary research experience
    • Consulting experience, strategy consulting preferred
    • Client management experience
  • 5+ years at a Managing Director, Principal or Senior Director level
  • Experience with developing growth strategies for organization(s), particularly around new business lines
  • Prior experience launching or working on new or existing products for commercial sale
  • 10+ years working in the healthcare industry and an understanding of health system operations; preferably provider experience
  • Experience managing and coaching more junior team members
  • Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships with Executive Leadership
  • Experience working in a cross-matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated success in creating compelling stories validated with data and primary research
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time (travel will be 1-3 days during the week)-
